Amathus Aegeas Ltd. stems from the parent company Amathus Corporation Ltd. The corporation is a trusted name in Cyprus and abroad as it has developed into a well-known brand in the industry since it first established its presence in the shipping industry in 1943. Solid services and its association with the Lanitis Group assist the corporation to continuously grow within its business scope and with the times.

The Lanitis Group – Diverse Business and Social Activities Under One Name
The family name Lanitis has been at the forefront of assisting economic development and creating a roadmap to the thriving business landscape of Cyprus since the 19th century. Amathus Aegeas – The Legacy
Amathus Aegeas Ltd. is an associate company of Amathus Corporation Ltd, which is also linked to the Lanitis group - one of the largest and diverse groups in Cyprus. The company was launched in 2005 through the merger of the shipping division of Amathus Navigation Co. Ltd and Aegeas Navigation Ltd.
Amathus Navigation Co. Ltd started on its journey through maritime history in 1943, when it charted its course as a pioneering shipping company with two cargo vessels trading between Cyprus and Egypt. From these humble beginnings, the corporation grew into a ship management powerhouse and was able to offer complete cargo transportation and logistics services through a network of global partners.
In 1996 Aegeas Navigation Ltd was founded to further develop the corporation’s strength as a shipping agency and provide chartering and brokerage services to those whose business had to do with the sea.
With the backing of more than 80 years of experience in shipping, cargo transportation, and logistics services in Cyprus, Amathus Aegeas Ltd. harnesses the rich legacy of its founding partners to propel the future of the industry forward.
